The Dee's Dairy Cup is back! The Mvuma-based Dairy outfit sponsored the inaugural tournament last season, and they are back again, and this time they come bearing gifts. They have upped the sponsorship of the tournament from US$10 000 to US$15 000 this year. The sponsorship deal will be unveiled in the capital on June 21, with all 40 teams expected to turn up for the launch and draw. The sponsorship will see all 40 clubs affiliated with the league battle it out for the first prize. Mr Robert Tembo, the league chairman, said the development will go a long way in promoting grassroots football development, as this has become an annual knock-out tournament. “We are delighted to announce that Dee’s Dairy have committed to sponsor this year’s ZIFA Harare Province Division Two League knockout soccer tournament. “We are happy that they have increased the purse money from last year’s US$10 000 to US$15 000".
